speaking about what you should do for finding a job

This video is what I am talking about what we should do for finding a job. If you are interested, please click on it. (There is one thing I missed during making this video is that volunteering is a good way for you to get work experiences in Canada)

  1. Julie - It's nice to see the scenes of Guelph. It looks like you had fun making the video. I also like how you referred people to another of your post for more information on Information Interviews.
Listening to your own voice can help you improve your speaking. For example, I noticed you said 80% of jobs are hidden. Try pronouncing it like /EIGH-dy/ and 18% like /eigh-TEEN/.
I think recording your answers to typical interview questions would be a helpful way to prepare for a job interview. You could listen and decide if there's anything more you could add or if there's a different way of saying things that you like better. Did you like recording your voice?

    1. Thank you, Lisa. I feel weird when I listen my own voice:). my voice sound a little different from the voices of most of grils.
